You keep your palette for life, so it's a one-time investment. Clients often say the biggest difference is confidence: they finally understand why some colors make them glow and others don't. Kyshel's session includes a digital swatch with 120+ colors, so you can use your results every time you shop.

An individual color analysis with Kyshel takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Adding a makeup analysis makes it 2 to 2.5 hours. Sessions for two people take 3 to 3.5 hours, sessions for three take 3.5 to 4 hours, and sessions for ages 8–15 take 30 to 45 minutes.

You can get a first clue with at-home tests: look at the color of your wrist veins, compare silver and gold jewelry, hold white paper next to your face, think about whether you burn or tan, and try warm, cool and neutral colors near your face. These tests often disagree, like they did for Kyshel in this video. An in-person color analysis uses professional drapes in controlled lighting to give you a clear answer.

For the most accurate results, please come to your session bare-faced with no self-tanner — this helps us see your true, natural undertones.

You can wear whatever is comfortable, but please do not wear high-collared shirts, turtlenecks, or jackets with hoods since I provide a cape for you to wear over your clothes.

Not a problem. If needed, we'll work around your dyed hair to still get an accurate read on your natural coloring.

Your palette is based on your undertones, which don't change, so tanning and hair color won't change your palette. As your coloring softens with age, a neighboring palette can occasionally feel a little more harmonious, but your undertone, the heart of your palette, stays the same.

Absolutely not. Any gender or age has the right to discover themselves in a way they can dress to feel their best.

If you need to cancel your session, kindly do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled time to receive a refund. A $40 cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund. Cancelling less than 24 hours before your appointment will result in a 50% refund only. If you would like to reschedule your appointment, please contact me so we can find a better date and time that works for you. You can reschedule one time; after that, the cancellation policy stands. Please note that if you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, your session will need to be rescheduled to ensure adequate time and quality of service. You will only have the opportunity to reschedule once after a late arrival; after that, the cancellation policy stands for any other late arrival, with only a 50% refund and no service rendered. No-call, no-shows are non-refundable.

You can bring a friend, but to keep the session focused, appointments are adults-only. Please arrange childcare ahead of time. If you booked a kid's color analysis session, they are obviously welcome to come.
